Medina House Incident – MP’s call to Help Police

Anyone who has any information about the air-rifle attack on Medina House School should contact the Police, says Island MP, Andrew Turner.

He said,

“I was horrified to hear of this afternoon’s attack on staff and pupils at Medina House School. I am glad that no-one appears to have been seriously hurt. Anyone who has any information which might be of help to the police should pass it on to PC Martin Jones on 0845 0454545 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Don’t limit yourself to asking, ‘Did I see what happened?’ Ask, ‘Who do I know who wasn’t in their normal place on Wednesday at 2 o’clock? Does that person own an air rifle? Were there any cars in the area at that time? Was anyone nearby behaving suspiciously or in a way that indicated they’d been up to no good?’

“I am sure the police will be putting considerable resources into identifying the perpetrator of this very stupid action. We owe it to them to think particularly hard about what we know that might help them.”
